Some tricky thoughts on impending World War Three, although it was written before today's date and so some opinions may need to be updated.

I am too lazy to update this. There are good points, yet points which may need adjusting. Just call me Aldous Huxley. Just kidding. Please don't.

World War three is on its way... this is a fact.
It will take place in Asia, the Middle East, and possibly be brought to North America for the first time.

North Korea is instigating tensions in the region. Japan does not like this because N. Korea would most likely like to attack Japan. Japan has a massive defense force.
Japan may attack North Korea preemptively with American support. China may very well defend N. Korea as they did in the 1950s.

Iran may attack Israel, or vice versa. Very hard to tell in the middle east. In any case, I believe the US is making a case to go to war with Iran, and something could be staged in order to convince the public that it is ok to go to war there.

There will be two fronts, the war in the pacific, and the war in the middle east. There may very well be a third front in N. America.

This is where things get tricky.

China has 200,000,000 men of military fighting age, and is "the closest thing North Korea has to an ally". China, conversely, is also the same country with whom the UN (including Canada) fought in the Korean war. It is China that made the war a stalemate.
(the UN and North Korea are still technically in a state of war - there has merely been a cease-fire in place since 1953 - no peace accord)

Additionally, China (and Russia - who is not an ally by any means - they wish they were back to being communist. The only reason they're not is due to circumstance from when they essentially became bankrupt and had to give in to capitalism, and thus their own version of 'democracy'. Vladimir Putin, Russia's president is leading a corrupt government, and thus fascist, government) has made deals with Iran for their resources. Combined with Russia's deals with Iran, the Chinese and Russian resource deals with Iran are worth upwards of $100,000,000,000 (100 billion). That's a lot of coin and a lot of resources. If something disrupts the flow of these resources due to a conflict in the middle east, something will be set off, and it will give due cause to China to help defend North Korea as they did in the 1950s. Russia wishes they were a massive world power again, and they might try to regain this status by siding with the communist Chinese and North Koreans. They have more in common than we think.

As an aside, another battle could be fought for Taiwan. About a year and a half ago, China put into place legislation which legally allows the attack and possible annihilation of the island of Taiwan. China wants Taiwan to recognize China as the central authority and quit trying to be independent. The Western world is sworn to protect Taiwan because they are a bastion of democracy and have a strong economy.

Now... to make things more interesting... North Korea, Iran, China, Russia all have the capability thanks to submarines and more modern technology to attack North America. Although the U.S. has even greater technological might, the combined technologies and manpower of the communist nations could level the playing field.

To make things even MORE interesting... Venezuela, who is like a new and outgoing Fidel Castro, has been visiting and befriending Cuba's communist leaders. Venezuela's leader, Hugo Chavez is not communist but is a Socialist, which means he agrees with sharing with the people and not being an imperial greedy power like the U.S. He actually went so far to call George Bush the 'Devil' in NYC. He's also met with the leader of Iran. He's also been supplied with a military build up from Russia.

So, there will soon be a chain of events, I think before 2008 when Bush will leave office, which will begin a war either first in the middle east of in Asia... and this chain of events will gather support for both sides.

Around the year 2011 or 2012, the first nuclear bombs will begin to fall.
It believe it will be a very long lasting war. Things are getting worse... and they are not improving. Not that there is anything to his predictions, but it's interesting to note that Nostradamus predicted that there would be 3 major world wars within 100 years of each other. The first world war started in 1914. He made these predictions 500 years ago. Also, the Mayan calendar only goes up to 2012, but that's probably only coincidence.

Anyway. I'm moving up north when the shit hits the fan
